Why do pizza brands keep calling AllTex?

We have built more than 50 pizza restaurants across Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, including Domino's, Papa Murphy's and Papa John's locations. After that many, the layout, the make line and the inspection checklist hold very few surprises.

Our line on our last website was "Nobody builds pizza joints like AllTex Construction." We stand by it, and we'd like to keep the streak going.

Full-service dining rooms and bars

Beyond pizza, our crews have worked on Papa Murphy's, Chuy's and Mellow Mushroom locations around DFW, plus local bars and taquerias. The work that makes a dining room memorable is mostly Division 9, which is exactly the part we keep in-house: reclaimed-wood bars, carved feature walls, painted slat ceilings and tile.

Questions people ask us

How much does a restaurant build out cost in Dallas?

Published 2026 Dallas figures put restaurant build outs at about $200 to $400 per square foot, depending on the kitchen and finishes. Second-generation space usually costs 30% to 50% less. AllTex gives a free written estimate for your space.

How long does a restaurant build out take?

The schedule depends on permits, inspections and equipment. Commercial kitchen equipment alone often takes 8 to 16 weeks to arrive, so we build the schedule around those lead times from day one.

Can you convert a second-generation restaurant space?

Yes. In a second-generation space we check what can stay, such as hoods, grease lines and walk-ins that still meet code, and price the rest. Reusing what works is where second-gen savings come from.

Do you build restaurants outside Dallas and Plano?

Yes. AllTex Construction has built restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas, and manages Texas restaurant jobs for out-of-town general contractors.
