What is an office build out?

An office build out turns open lease space into rooms your team can work in: private offices, conference rooms, break rooms, reception and the ceilings, floors and finishes around them. AllTex Construction builds and remodels office space in Plano, Dallas and DFW, from a single suite refresh to a full floor.

Who it's for

Companies moving into new space, growing teams reworking the space they have, and landlords refreshing vacant suites.

Who it isn't for

If you just need furniture moved or cubicles reconfigured, an office furniture dealer is the faster call.

How we plan an office build out around your lease date

Most office projects have a hard date: the old lease ends, the new one starts, and the team has to sit somewhere. We work backward from that date, ordering long-lead items such as glass, doors and casework first.

Every bid, change order and schedule update lives in our online system, which keeps our office about 90% paperless and keeps you looking at the same numbers we are.

Remodeling an office you are still working in

Not every office can empty out. When your team is still working there, we phase the work area by area, keep paths and exits clear, and plan the loud work with you up front.

From first call to finished job

  1. Step 1

    Walk and measure

We walk the space with you, measure, and listen to how your team actually works.

  2. Step 2

    Layout and estimate

A layout, finish selections and a written estimate. Changes are easy at this stage.

  3. Step 3

    Permit and build

Permits, framing, MEP, inspections, ceilings, floors and finishes.

  4. Step 4

    Move-in ready

Punch list, final clean and the keys, timed to your move.
