Home and building automation in Plano and Dallas

Lights, sound, temperature and security you can see and control from anywhere.

How we handle automation work

Automation works best when it's planned with the building, not bolted on after. Because we're the general contractor, the wire, boxes and blocking go in while the walls are open, and the controls are part of the finish rather than an afterthought.

Property managers and owners use our systems to watch energy use for gas, water and electricity, spot waste in real time, and fix the lights left on or the door left open, from anywhere in the world.

Commercial building automation

Lighting, sound, HVAC controls, boilers, security cameras and building maintenance alerts on one dashboard for offices, restaurants, clinics and multi-family buildings.

Residential home automation

Scene lighting, whole-home audio, smart thermostats, cameras and alarm, controlled from your phone or a wall panel.

Questions people ask us

Is it cheaper to add automation during construction?

Yes. Running wire and installing boxes while walls and ceilings are open is far less work than fishing cable through finished walls later, which is why AllTex plans automation into new builds and remodels from the start.

Can I control the system when I'm away?

Yes. The systems we install can be monitored and controlled remotely from a phone or computer, so you can check energy use, cameras, lights and doors from anywhere.
